Despite its name, the so-called "Protect Economic and Academic Freedom Act" bill (H.R. 4795) does nothing to protect economic or academic freedom. It does the opposite. H.R. 4795 conditions access to federal education funding on universities’ treatment of boycotts targeting Israel and Israeli entities.
