So much has changed since we released our last scorecards in 2024. The political landscape and American public opinion have shifted dramatically. Even Congress itself has changed as lawmakers were increasingly forced to confront what it means to be an American politician operating in proximity to Israel, AIPAC, and the broader Zionist lobby. 

For our  third Palestine Congressional Scorecard, we tracked how every Member of Congress aligned on a comprehensive set of Palestine-related bills, resolutions, votes, and public letters. Unlike our 2024 edition, which assessed only Democrats, the 2026 scorecard includes both Democrats and Republicans.

That expansion was deliberate. The American public deserves full transparency and accountability from every elected official, regardless of party affiliation. People deserve to know how their elected officials are voting, what they are supporting, and whether they are truly representing the values and demands of the people they serve. At a moment when billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars continue flowing toward war, genocide, apartheid, occupation, and human rights abuses, transparency and accountability are more important than ever.

Many elected officials have shifted dramatically for the better in recent years. In the House alone, we went from just 4 members receiving an “A” on our 2024 scorecard to 30 members receiving an “A” in 2026, reflecting how much public pressure and organizing have moved this issue politically, solidifying the importance of civic engagement. At the same time, those gains make clear just how many lawmakers are still choosing political expediency, capitulation to Zionist lobby pressure, and a profound lack of moral clarity.
