We must continue placing pressure on our elected officials; we can’t give up
Israel has killed more than 7,236 civilians in Gaza, most of which are women and children, since it began its murderous campaign on October 7, and the death toll is continuing to rise. While the Biden Administration continues to back Israel’s murderous campaign, there has been an unprecedented shift in American public support for Palestinians. The American people support a ceasefire and a genuine peace that addresses the root causes, not the misguided policies of the past, let alone genocide.
TAKE ACTION: PLACE PRESSURE ON YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS
We are asking you to:
- DEMAND Members of Congress cosponsor Rep. Cori Bush’s H.Res.786 – Ceasefire Now Resolution.
- DEMAND Congress OPPOSE the $14.6 billion in weapons aid to Israel. The U.S. shouldn’t be adding fuel to an already raging fire; instead, it needs to bring it to an end.
- DEMAND Congress to prioritize the immediate and ample delivery of humanitarian aid.
For 75 years, the world has been failing Palestinians. For three decades, the United States has been giving them promises about their right to live in a contiguous, sovereign state in which Palestinians live in freedom and dignity.
The United States has the opportunity and the moral responsibility to call for an immediate ceasefire. We must place as much pressure as possible on our elected officials to demand an end to Israel’s violent bombing campaign of Gaza and immediate removal of the blockade.
