The past few years have witnessed a horrifying escalation in the Israeli ethnic cleansing campaign in the West Bank. Countless Palestinian cities and villages have been impacted, terrorized day and night by armed extremists who attack civilians, burn homes and cars, destroy crops, and steal or murder livestock.
Tell Congress: Stop the Israeli Settler Siege of Qusra and Sanction Israeli Settlers
Today, the town of Qusra is under siege, including homes belonging to American citizens like Loui Ridi, a small business owner, husband, and dad. He flew all the way from Ohio to protect his brother and nephew, who were trapped and under attack by violent Israeli settlers trying to steal their home.
Mobs of Israeli settlers have been attacking his home and two other Palestinian families in the town, surrounding them and trapping everyone inside for more than two weeks.
This is part of Israel’s agenda to force Palestinian families out of their homes so Israelis can steal them and take over more Palestinian land permanently. Palestinians have the right to live in their homes, on their land, safely and freely.
Members of Congress must act now to end Israel’s siege of Qusra and protect Loui, his family, and all Palestinians under the threat of Israeli settlers. If American elected officials are serious about ending Israel’s brutal violence against Palestinians, including Palestinian Americans, they need to stop providing a blank check to Israel and sanction illegal Israeli settlers.
